First steps with the Portal

The Rubin Science Platform’s Portal Aspect is a sophisticated graphical interface for querying and visualizing Rubin data. In this quick-start tutorial, you will make your first queries and visualiztions in the Portal Aspect.

Logging in

Start by visiting the homepage for the Rubin Science Platform in your web browser (https://data.lsst.cloud/).

If you see your username in the top right corner, you’re already logged in. If not, click the Log in button in the top right corner. If you don’t have an account yet, see Getting an account and logging in.
